My name is Joanna and I love museums. They fascinate me to the extend that I've spent four years researching use of digital technology in one of my favourite museums, the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway. I'm especially interested in how digital tools can enable keeping the museum collections up to date. I have experience of working with museum collections digitization and citizen science projects. At the University of Oslo, where I have recently completed a PhD in Museology, I taught courses in ‘Digital Cultural Heritage’, ‘Arranging the past. Museum and Cultural Heritage Communication’, and ‘Material Culture in the Globalized World’. I am currently working as Senior Conservator and Photo Archivist at Museums in Akershus, Norway.
